Gaspard Tiné-Berès’s “Lasso” house slipper is one that you assemble yourself. Because even those of you who spend a lot of time at home, rocking sweats, like to create things other than piles of dirty dishes every now and then. Made of a single piece of die-cut wool felt, the slippers are shipped flat with a single colored shoelace. Zero skills are required (whew!), because pretty much everyone is capable of “stitching” up the seams using the laser-perforated notches as a guide.
“The act of self-assembling the slippers increases the sense of ownership and emotional connection with them, Tiné-Berès, explains. If you build them, they will love your lazy ass feet even more.
